During her 20- years as a principal Dancer of the world- famous Danza Libre dance company, Yescica performed at prestigious venues such as The Royal Opera House London and the National Theatre in Cuba.
At the turn of the century Yescica moved to England where she studied Podiatry Medicine , graduating from Salford University. As you’d expect Yescica’s understanding of balance and the importance of feet and lower limbs in unequalled, following her glittering international career in dance and choreography.
Yescica is registered with the Health Professional Council and pride herself on giving patients the highest standards of care and treatment available. Since graduating in 2008 from Salford University.
Yescica has gained extensive experience in working both in the NHS and Private sector and have attained a BSc (Hons) in Podiatric Medicine or Podiatry and hold current certificates of competence in the use of analgesics and administration of local anaesthetics.
Treatments are offered in our modern newly refurbished clinic which has been reappointed to the highest of standards. Hygiene is paramount and our facilities meet the highest standards of infection control complying with government policy HTM20. We have patient toilet facilities and comfortable reception/waiting room area.
What to expect
Your initial appointment will involve a full detailed check of your medical history/medication review and comprehensive tests on sensation and circulation as well as assessment of you podiatric need. Your initial assessment/treatment may take up to 45 minutes. Once fully assessed an agreed management plan will be set in place.
We offer routine treatments, biomechanical assessments, nail surgery and are able to manufacture custom made orthotics on site.
It is helpful if patients attending for the first time bring a list of any medications that they take regularly and an assortment of their regular footwear. Patients attending for a biomechanics assessment should also bring a pair of shorts to wear during the assessment.
